Set six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where the Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures because of their encounters with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.

On a brighter note, they finally updated EaW with custom 3D models for units. And I found that we can add Latvian to the list of languages in the EaW universe, spoken by the native ponies of Longsword.

Oh yes, I noticed. Yesterday I thought it was disappointed that for some reason Greneclyff used pony models rather than the unique Changeling models they made for the Changeling lands. I mean, I guess it's possible for them to look like ponies since they are shapeshifters? Anyways, I was pleased they changed that in the update today, as well as reduced the size of the models which was another change I thought was needed.
I still don't understand the distribution of which nations have voice acting. Like, Stalliongrad and New Mareland do, the Crystal Empire has a single line of unique dialogue, but none of the Eastern ponies do, nor do any of the non-ponies have dialogue. Except both of the two deer nations, inexplicably.
It's a really cute update though. "We must preserve our lands!" "Magic makes us strong."
I kind of wish the voice actor were American or Canadian rather than British though

If not, I’d like to keep him in Baltimare, which leaves a few options. In any event, I’m very disappointed than basically more than half the players have quit or are otherwise not appearing, which kind of puts a damper on things and adds an air of uncertainty that makes it difficult to plan things

That is why I'm considering to roll a character with backstory motivations to work for Black Hooves. Not going to copy the edgy hoers, of course. Maybe cleric or a magic class to add some nice firepower to the squad, depending on what the team needs. I understand that may complicate things since it will take time to come up with a reason to join up with the established BH lovers team. I feel like it'll take less effort than placing a reason for Iron. Especially with my lack of understanding of GM signs and Iron's ties to gang and all.
It's up to you, though. Perhaps it's all going according to plan or something.

That does not necessarily mean I want to deviate your attention to two places at once for something that may not be entertaining, fun for you or causes more annoying issues to join up that pop up from this outcome. While I can't twist Iron's wants, I can present another fitting character that will stick to the other PCs more strongly. It's not about me wanting to do stuff. I'm trying to ease the burden of juggling the PCs in their environments by making all available PCs be in one place most of the time. Like I said many times. I do not care if Iron is killed or not in the grand scheme of things. As long as your plan grants you fun for you, I'll do my best to follow along, to the point I'm presenting.
