The fire is producing copious amounts of smoke, which gives cover. The meadow did not catch fire quite so successfully on the "right" side, which is to say the area immediately in front of the barn. The only sources of light, besides the half-moon, are the burning barn, in which it appears one of the two fire set has caught on and was not put out, and the fire in the meadow that is now between Posey and the ELF cell. Posey may cast a shadow from the fire in the barn.

The entrance is a simple hole in the roof, going about 15 feet down into the cavern below. While Posey could likely ease herself down such that she could enter the cavern without taking damage, she does not immediately have a way to exit through that same hole, and the barn is now too dangerous to exit through.

There's not a whole hell of a lot, but there is certainly more than none.

To the immediate left, the ground dips down into a very small valley, or recess in the ground, around what is surely a dry creek, that may still run with water at some times of year. There isn't that much vegetation, with a few plants and high grass. The center is dried mud, and baren limbed trees line the rim.
