Okay, the difference between the vampire spawn and the thralls changes Posey's plans a bit. I was suspecting that they would either be ghouls or vampire spawn.

"Grab whatever weapons you can find, we strike momentarily."
Since thralls and ghouls are the bottom of the hierarchy in the Dread League, Posey, as an apprentice mage, outranks them. Since they are intelligent undead, they can benefit from Posey's presence through her Necromantic Commander Aura (+1d6 damage to living creatures).
Of course, this only counts if they serve her. If the thralls show any hesitation to combat, Posey might have to rebuke them.

DM would have to answer but probably not. Earlier a party of level-5 adventurers had to fight some honest-to-Orcus ghouls and they were a scary opponent.

I'm going to roll Religion, to get a better understanding of these undead, as I have observed them in combat now. I expected them to hold off the ponies for longer, as the lowest level incorporeals are usually a death sentence to low level martials. It appears as though they don't have the full benefits of the incorporeal subtype, but are able to manipulate objects as though with the ghostly grasp feat.
