Amber still doesn't have anything she can prepare in her apartment so she would have to eat out, which would be expensive. Why not enjoy a meal with the family and make it up to them later?

She then gets a glass and fills it with water from the sink, one at a time for each pony. A question occurs to her.
"Will Veneer be joining us?" she asks Dahlia.
Amber is a wholesome country girl, she would never do it. Surely she's been educated on what sex is and why not to do it until marriage, right?
