The blade itself is not the black of iron, or even the grey of steel, but an almost white, shining color as if it were crafted out of silver. Along the blade are small cuts and designs that Silver cannot quite make out, and on the rainguard of the handle is a sun pattern. The sword is very large, rather heavy, and clearly intended to be used as a two hooved weapon or for stronger magic wielders. The crossguard has small balls at the end, and the blade looks as if it were recently sharpened.

This was probably made before electro-plating, so that's a thicker outer layer than we'd have in a sword of this kind if we made one today. Now I can tell you that this thing is either a decorative piece, or it's a magically enchanted sword, because no way would any swordstallion have a sword with a very weak and malleable precious metal covering the sword unless it was magically enchanted to be harder. The steel gives it some structural strength, while the noble metal holds an enchantment well. It also looks prettier, which was probably intended, and it's basically impervious to rust or corrosion, which is kind of a happy accident. I partially drained water in quarry, then went inside and fired my rifle near quarry enterance to get horde's attention and use myself as bait to lure them outside. I brought them over towards unexploded bomb from War stuck on quarry wall, shot it with rifle, and blew most of them to pieces. Those that survived I just finished it off with my rifle from range. All except mummy, and armoured ghast this sword came from. They were attracted towards bait I used just when giant bird came out of nowhere and fought them for it."
